On July 30th, our city held a mobilization conference for the development of private economy and opening up to the outside world, as well as an entrepreneur conference. Yang Hui, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, delivered a speech, and Mei Shitong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, presided over the meeting.

Yang Hui pointed out that we should attach great importance to the development of the private economy and provide important support for achieving high-quality development. We need to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the private economy, improve quality and efficiency, and strive to achieve the "four enhancements" of comprehensive strength, innovation capability, quality and efficiency, and social contribution. Efforts should be made to drive innovation and encourage private enterprises to increase their investment in scientific research and innovation.

Yang Hui demanded that the development environment be comprehensively optimized, combined with the launch of the "double innovation and double service" activities, and based on the needs, expectations, and wishes of private enterprises, efforts should be made to build a new type of government business relationship, increase policy support, standardize the market economy order, create a good service environment, policy environment, legal environment, and public opinion environment, and provide strong guarantees for promoting the development of the private economy, expanding opening up to the outside world, and strengthening the construction of the entrepreneurial team.

Mei Shitong emphasized that all levels and departments should deepen their ideological understanding, improve their political stance, and effectively enhance their sense of responsibility, urgency, and mission to do a good job. With a more resolute attitude, determination, and powerful measures, they should promote the development of the private economy and achieve new breakthroughs in opening up to the outside world.

Wang Xiaoyan, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of United Front Work, announced the list of outstanding private entrepreneurs who have made contributions. Liu Qiang, Vice Mayor, announced the list of the top 10 outward oriented private enterprises. City leaders Zhang Guodong, Zhao Xueming, Pan Haiying, Xue Zetong, Liang Zhengang, and Yang Hao attended the meeting.

The meeting will be held in the form of a broadcast network video conference.
